Target Subiaco

Firstly, the 3 hour free underground parking is brilliant. Car parks are on the larger side too, which is quite rare for this area. Although quite a compact Target, its layout is great! It’s super organised and well stocked. Customer service is good too, as change rooms are well maintained and garments are put away quickly. Staff have also been very helpful and kind when I’ve had to exchange a purchase. Love my local Target!

It gets worse. I made the trip back and the item (a steel bowl, unused, with packaging intact) is apparently not a valid return as homewares might carry Covid. Covid is NOT transmitted on surfaces. Further, why would I feel safe buying things if I am not sure I can return something that isn't right for the job? Your sister organisation Bunnings asks no questions so no one hesitates to buy. When is 5 o'clock closing not 5? When it's 4.55 - tried to get a return in and informed they were closed 5 minutes early. Not good enough. 5pm is 5pm, not 4.55pm. I will now have to make another trip and burn fuel, time and CO2. Whoever the female at the door was on Sunday Nov 19th was should get a reprimands as she spent several minutes telling me there was no time for a return. If it's policy then the policy should change.

Paid $60 for a blazer that had the security tag still attached, my click & collect order was in a sealed bag so I didn’t notice. Had to remove the security tag at home with a screwdriver because no one removed it before packaging the order and I was not driving back for someone else’s inability to pay attention. My new blazer now has a hole in it from removal.

I felt like I was profiled the minute I walked into the store. I ordered online and went to collect my order, from that moment on I picked up my order, I had a staff member following me throughout the store I noticed them as I browsed the Men's section. They followed as I walked through the toys. Thinking it was in my head I decided to look through in the Women's section. Again, they followed me. I decided to cut my browsing short because they staff member was making me feel extremely uncomfortable. As I walked passed the entry on my way to checkouts I was accosted by said staff member, who assumed I was making my way to the exit without paying. I explained I was on my way to the checkouts and there's no other way for me to get there without walking by the exit. I paid for my items at the self checkout, and on the way out I was harassed by the same staff member asking to see my receipt. They said I had more items than were listed on my receipt, I had to point out to the staff member that I had multiple of the same items. They insisted on counting them before giving the items back to me. All I wanted to do was buy clothes and be on my way, instead I was made to feel like a thief instead of a customer. If people have to walk by the exit on the way to the checkouts, that's a clear design flaw on Target's behalf. Even with that said, I'd done nothing to raise suspicion to be followed as I browse the store. I'd definitely stay away from this place and will not go back there under any circumstances.

The staff service, Mr Ken was great. He was attentive and efficient. However, very disappointed Target mislead consumer by not honouring their promotion for the 20% hoodie currently in store. I've picked a jacket hoodie with the discount sign clearly displayed at top of the rack. When I went to pay, the discount was not honoured. Ken checked with the manager and I was told they consider it a jacket not a hoodie despite its a jacket hoodie. I felt humiliated to be asked if I still want the jacket hoodie infront of other customers and no choice but to pay the full price. Unhappy customer.
